Making sense of

what feels tangled.

Therapy for when you’re holding it all together
— and struggling underneath.

Some pain is loud. Some is quiet.

The things we keep to ourselves can be some of the hardest to carry.

You may be carrying something privately, minimizing how much it’s affecting you, or struggling to explain what’s really going on.

You don’t have to hide how you’re really feeling.

Therapy that looks at
the whole picture.

I’m Elaine Clark, offering virtual psychotherapy to individuals and couples in British Columbia and Ontario.

My approach considers the emotions, relationships, experiences, and body-based responses that may be shaping what’s happening now.

Together, we can make sense of what feels difficult or stuck, understand what you may need, and work toward ways of responding that feel more grounded, connected, and sustainable.

Ways to Work Together

Individual Therapy

A space to slow down, make sense of what's happening, and understand yourself more clearly.

Couples Therapy

Support for navigating conflict, disconnection, change, and difficult seasons.

EMDR Therapy

A structured approach for processing distressing experiences that may feel present.

What to Expect

Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you’re used to figuring things out on your own. You don’t need to arrive with the right words or a clear idea of where to begin. We’ll start with what feels most important and shape the work together from there.

1. Let’s connect
We’ll begin with a brief consultation to talk about what you’re looking for, answer any questions, and get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.

2. We’ll start with what’s bringing you here
Your first few sessions give us space to understand what’s been happening, what feels most important right now, and what you’d like to feel different.

3. The work takes shape from there
Therapy is personalized to you. Together, we may explore patterns, relationships, difficult experiences, and the ways stress shows up in your thoughts, emotions, and body—while building approaches that feel useful and sustainable in everyday life.
